Lash & Brows
Course Description
The Lash and Brow Course has been designed to help learners understand the principles of becoming a Lash and Brow technician, learning the key skills and practices as a Lash and Brow technician such as, anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment and the techniques for eyebrow shaping, the tinting of eyelashes and eyebrows and the application of artificial lashes.
This course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation, and ventilation.

The Lash and Brow Course is split into the following modules which are completed online:

- LB010 Application of Strip Lashes Technique
- LB011 Application of Flare Lashes
- LB012 Aftercare
Assessment
Following the online theory completion, you will then be contacted to complete the practical session, which will include the following.
- Eyebrow Shaping Technique
- Eyebrow Tinting Technique
- Eyebrow Tinting Technique
- Application of Strip Lashes Technique
- Application of Flare Lashes
Certificate
On successful completion of the theory and practical of the Lash and Brow Course. A certificate can be downloaded or a hard copy purchased for an extra cost.
Course Format
This course is delivered through blended learning, the theory being delivered online. Once the theory has been completed, Learners of the course will receive an email, you will then register your details and gain access to the theory sessions. Once completed we will contact you to arrange a training day to suit your needs.
Course Duration
There is no time to complete the theory or practical part of this course, once enrolled, learners can work at their own pace to complete the theory side online, at a time to suit them. Once the theory has been completed, an email will be sent to book a practical session (spread over 1 day) at a time to suit you to complete the practical aspect of the course.

When you are studying a course it is always useful to know that you have the help and support of tutors that want you to succeed in your studies.
As part of the Lash and Brow course, you will receive access to our dedicated tutor support service. The academic tutors will be able to provide you with unlimited online email support or by an arranged telephone call to help answer any questions that you may have whilst you are studying the course.
Frequently Asked Questions
Once you have enrolled on the course and paid the course fee, you will have immediate access to the online course modules which means you can start learning straight away. Practical training will be provided within three weeks of completion of the theory aspect of the course.
How long will it take me to complete the course?
The time it takes to complete the course will depend on how quickly you learn as an individual, and also on the number of hours per day you spend on it. The practical element of the course will require one or two days depending on chosen group size.
Is there a time limit for completing the course?
No.
Is the course accredited?
The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists for membership and insurance and follows the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for beauty, nails and holistic guidelines.
